Maria is under the supervision of the Associations Board of Directors, and Great North senior management. Maria assists many of the property managers on projects including maintenance and construction activities associated with the management of your Association. She was awarded a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science at Merrimack College. She worked as an environmental consultant before pursuing her Master of Science degree in Resource Administration and Management at the University of New Hampshire, Durham campus.
Maria’s essential duties are to assist in the oversight, along with members of the board, the management of the common facilities of the community, as well as custodial and maintenance services provided by a range of outside contractors and vendors. She oversees with members of the board the activities of contractors, vendor personnel, and suppliers. Maria also monitors contracts for compliance and monitors general expenditures of the association. She assists in soliciting bids and assures compliance to bid specifications for maintenance, landscaping, snow removal and construction projects, and participates in the selection of contractors, in concert with the association’s Board of Director’s.
Maria meets with the Board of Directors as necessary and communicates with them regularly. She interacts with the homeowners and serves as liaison between the Board of Directors, owners, contractors, municipality, etc. At the Board of Director’s request, she procures services/coverage as necessary to run the Association. Maria maintains Association records and provides administrative support to the Board and the Association as well as serving as a point of contact for the community.
